Saul Cozens

Saul Cozens serves as the Head of Research and Innovation IT at The University of Sheffield since September 2020. As a Founding Director of Sheffield Digital Limited since June 2015, Saul has played a pivotal role in supporting the local digital economy and its communities. Saul previously held positions such as Member of the Board of Directors at Site Gallery, Head of Northern Operations at dxw digital, and Head of the Digital Hub at the UK Home Office. Additionally, Saul has contributed to academia as an Associate Lecturer at Sheffield Hallam University and completed various contract roles, including Agile Coach at Comic Relief and Interim Head of Digital at DACS. Saul earned a PhD in Low Complexity Image Coding Algorithms and a BEng in Electronic and Control Systems Engineering from The University of Sheffield.
