William Robertson

William Robertson is a Postgraduate Researcher at The University of Sheffield, engaged in research focused on developing more sustainable steel manufacturing methods in collaboration with Tata Steel. This research emphasizes the removal, recovery, and substitution of residual and critical elements in steel, as well as improving residual build-up in Electric Arc Furnace production. Previously, William served as Workroom Manager at Engineers Without Borders Sheffield and as a Personal Tutor at StudyWorks B.V., where support was provided to secondary education students in subjects including mathematics and physics. William holds an EngD in Materials Science and Engineering from The University of Sheffield (2021-2025) and a Master of Engineering (MEng) in Mechanical Engineering with Biomechanics from the same institution (2017-2021), along with a Gymnasium Diploma (NT/NG) from Gemeentelijk Gymnasium Hilversum (2011-2017).
