NIHR SPHR Pre-doctoral Fellow at The University of Sheffield

Zoe Clarke is currently serving as an NIHR SPHR Pre-doctoral Fellow at The University of Sheffield since March 2023. Prior to this position, Zoe held the role of Programme Manager for Gambling at the Department of Health and Social Care from October 2021 to March 2023, and at Public Health England from November 2019 to September 2021. Zoe's expertise in health promotion is highlighted by a tenure as Senior Health Promotion Specialist at NHS Lothian from January 2019 to November 2019, focusing on substance use and blood borne viruses. Additional experience includes leading research projects on health services access for care-experienced young people and various positions in health-related organizations. Zoe's educational background includes an MSc in Drug and Alcohol Studies from the University of Glasgow and a BA (Hons) in Social Work from the University of York, alongside a postgraduate diploma related to drugs in Europe from Iscte - Instituto Universitário de Lisboa.
