Ashleigh Johnson

Ashleigh Johnson, MA, currently serves as the Academic Advising Coordinator for Pre-Professional Services at The University of Southern Mississippi since January 2022, where responsibilities include managing operations and promoting student success in pre-professional programs. Previous experience includes roles as an Adjunct Instructor and Academic Advisor, providing guidance to hundreds of students in Health Sciences and Pre-Nursing. Earlier positions at the University of Alabama at Birmingham involved counseling over 600 students in the UAB Honors College and managing Disability Support Services. Ashleigh holds a Master of Arts in Communication Management and has pursued further education in Mentoring and Leadership, with ongoing studies for a Doctor of Education in Higher Education Administration.
