Jason A. Beverly

Jason A. Beverly, Ph.D., currently serves as the Director of the Student Media Center at The University of Southern Mississippi, a position held since August 2023. With extensive experience in higher education, Jason has been the Dean of Student Services and Enrollment Management at Mississippi Gulf Coast Community College since 2013. Previously, Jason held roles at the University of Southern Mississippi, including Assistant Director of Financial Aid from 2010 to 2013 and Scholarship Coordinator from 2004 to 2010. Jason's early career included a position as Assistant Editor at Bay Press Newspaper from 2002 to 2004. Jason earned a Doctor of Philosophy degree in Mass Communication/Law from The University of Southern Mississippi between 2009 and 2013.
