Katharine Howie

Katharine Howie PhD serves as an Assistant Professor of Marketing at the College of Business and Economic Development at The University of Southern Mississippi since August 2020. Alongside this role, Katharine co-owns Dandu Artisan Kids and Outdoor Furniture LLC, which focuses on designing and building furniture for children and outdoor spaces. Previous academic positions include Assistant Professor of Marketing at the Dhillon School of Business at The University of Lethbridge and an Academic Research and Teaching Assistant at the University of Mississippi. Early career experiences encompass roles as a Loyalty Program Specialist at Bass Pro Shops and a Marketing Graduate Assistant at Missouri State University. Katharine holds a PhD in Marketing from the University of Mississippi and an MBA in Marketing from Missouri State University.
