David Bond

David Bond currently serves as the Head of Performance Sport at the University of Stirling and as an Advisory Board Member for Winning Students, roles held since September 2017. Previously, David was a Non-Executive Director at Commonwealth Games Scotland from June 2019 to June 2023 and worked as the Performance Sport Manager at the University of Leeds from July 2012 to August 2017, overseeing elite athlete scholarships and coaching partnerships. Additional experience includes serving as the Head of Hockey for England and Great Britain Hockey from May 2013 to August 2017 and as a lead coach for boys at a performance center. David started a career as a Sports Science Intern with WRU in August 2010. David holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Sports and Exercise Sciences from the University of Leeds, obtained in 2012, and completed secondary education at Hawarden High School.
