Felix Kasiti is currently a PhD Researcher at the University of Stirling, focusing on flood mapping using SAR and drones, a position held since October 2022. Previously, Felix served as an Assistant Hydrologist at the Regional Centre for Mapping of Resources for Development (RCMRD) from August 2019 to September 2022, where responsibilities included running hydrological models and training on Earth Observation data for water resource management. Additional experience includes roles as an Associate Water Quality Officer at The Water Project, Research Staff for the FAO conducting environmental assessments, and a Research Assistant at Hydrosan Consultants, where expertise was developed in hydrogeological assessments and environmental impact assessments. Felix began a career in water resource management as an intern at the Water Resources Management Authority. Educational qualifications consist of a Doctor of Philosophy from the University of Stirling, a Master of Science in Water Policy from the Pan African University Institute, and a Bachelor of Science in Hydrology and Water Resource Management from Maseno University.
