Richard Aird

Richard Aird is an experienced leader in service delivery and change management, currently serving as the Director of Service Delivery and Change at the University of Stirling since October 2015. Aird oversees a diverse portfolio that includes Information Support, Technology Support, Programme Management Office, and Learning & Teaching Enhancement. Prior to this role, Aird held the position of Interim Centre Director at INTO University of Stirling, where management of international recruitment and student support occurred during a key transitional period. Aird's earlier experience includes leadership roles at Stirling Council and West Dunbartonshire Council, focusing on customer services and information management. Aird's career commenced in 2003 with positions in IT support and digital training. Richard Aird holds a BSc (Honours) in Information Systems from Newcastle University.
