Anthony Cepak

Program Director, Content Creators Residential Learning Community at The University of Tennessee at Chattanooga

Anthony Cepak has a diverse work experience that spans over several years. Anthony is currently working as the Program Director for the Content Creators Residential Learning Community and the Program Director for A Creative Journey Study Abroad at The University of Tennessee at Chattanooga. Anthony also holds the position of Assistant Professor of Communication at the same university. Prior to their current roles, Anthony worked as a Graduate Student/Teaching Assistant at Michigan State University School of Journalism and as a Creative Manager at the College of Communication Arts & Science / WKAR Public Media. Anthony also served as a Graphic Designer, Art Director, and Photographer at the Michigan State University College of Education and the Michigan Primary Care Association. Anthony's early career included roles such as Graphic Designer, Photographer, and Web Specialist at The Argus-Press, Graphic Designer/Photographer at The Frankfort Times, Photographer and Graphic Designer at 20-20 Photographic, and Photography Intern at The Muskegon Chronicle and The Saginaw News.

Anthony Cepak earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Journalism and Photography from Central Michigan University in 2002. Anthony then attended Lansing Community College from 2008 to 2010, studying Multimedia/Graphic/Web Design. In 2014, they pursued a Master of Arts (M.A.) degree in International Journalism at Michigan State University. Anthony recently completed their education at Michigan State University, where they received their Doctor of Philosophy (Ph.D.) in Information and Media in 2020.
