Austin Harris

Austin Harris has a diverse work experience in various roles and industries. Austin worked as the Director of Operations and Chief Engineer at the UTC Research Institute, where they managed operations and engineering activities. Additionally, they served as the Testbed Manager at the University of Tennessee at Chattanooga, overseeing research projects focused on urban challenges. Prior to that, Austin worked as a Distributed Systems Engineer and Solutions Architect at Patterson Consulting. Austin also served as a Software Engineer/Mobile Developer at Variable, Inc. Furthermore, Austin gained experience as a Software Developer at Optimal System Solutions, where they implemented and maintained RESTful API's and improved server-side performance. Lastly, Austin worked as a Graduate Research Assistant and Client IT Specialist at the University of Tennessee at Chattanooga, where they led the development of an iOS app for stroke patients and provided IT support for students and faculty.

Austin Harris attended The University of Tennessee at Chattanooga from 2011 to 2015, earning a Bachelor of Science (B.S.) degree in Computer Science and Engineering. Austin then pursued further education at the same university, obtaining a Master of Science (M.S.) degree in Computer Science and Engineering from 2015 to 2016.
