Travis Turner

Travis Turner has extensive experience in the field of information technology. Travis began their career in 2000 as a Network Specialist at the University of Tennessee Medical Center. In this role, they were responsible for managing network systems. In 2007, they joined the University of Tennessee Graduate School of Medicine as an IT Team Leader and Help Desk Manager. Here, they oversaw end-user desktop support issues and managed the pc replacement and upgrade cycle. Travis then worked as an I.T. Consultant at the Southeastern Center for Fertility from 2009 to 2010. Currently, Travis serves as the Associate Director of Technology Services at the University of Tennessee Graduate School of Medicine. In this role, they supervise and coordinates all aspects of end-user technology support, evaluates new technology solutions, and implements improvement plans.

Travis Turner completed their Master of Business Administration (MBA) degree at the University of Tennessee at Martin from 2018 to 2019. Prior to that, they obtained a B.B.A. in Finance from East Tennessee State University, where they studied from 1996 to 2000. Additionally, Travis has obtained various certifications, including Lean Six Sigma Green Belt, ITIL Foundation Level, CompTIA Network+, and CompTIA A+.
