Barry Rich is the current Director of the Student Resource Center at The University of Tennessee Southern. He previously worked as an Instructor of English at Martin Methodist College for several years. Barry has taught a range of courses including First Year Experience, World Literature, and Composition. He has also served as an Adjunct Instructor and Interim Director of the Student Resource Center. Barry's educational background includes a Bachelor of Arts in English, a Master of Arts in English Language and Literature, and he is currently pursuing a Master of Fine Arts in Theatre Education.

The University of Tennessee Southern is a four-year public institution, and part of the University of Tennessee System. Formerly Martin Methodist College, originally founded in 1870, UT Southern (established in 2021) sits on a historic campus located in Pulaski, TN, in the beautiful hills of southern Middle Tennessee.
