Andrew J. Maas

Andrew J. Maas currently serves as the Associate Vice President for Technology Transfer at The University of Texas at Austin, a position held since January 2025. With a significant leadership role in the Association of University Technology Managers (AUTM) since 2010, Andrew holds the title of Board Chair-Elect and has actively contributed to various committees focusing on job task analysis, valuation, and essentials of technology transfer. Previously, Andrew was the Associate Vice President for Research - Innovation and Ecosystem Development at LSU Innovation, overseeing multiple innovation and commercialization initiatives. Andrew's career includes roles ranging from Co-Founder of Powsumer to positions in university technology commercialization, consulting engineering, and structural engineering. Andrew holds multiple advanced degrees, including Masters in Law and Engineering, as well as a Juris Doctor from reputable institutions.
