Bob Ligon Ms

Bob Ligon, MS, CPHIMS, PMP, is an instructor in Health Information Technology at the University of Texas at Austin since February 2011, contributing to curriculum development and leveraging over 25 years of healthcare experience in areas such as healthcare policy, project management, and quality improvement. Previously, Bob served as Director of Health Information Technology Services at TMF Health Quality Institute, where assistance was provided to physicians in adopting electronic health record technology. Bob's earlier roles include Chief Information Officer at Prairie Cardiovascular Consultants, managing technology implementation across multiple locations, and Director of Cardiovascular Clinical Research at Saint Luke's Health System, overseeing clinical research and authoring over 60 manuscripts in cardiovascular medicine. Educational credentials include a Master's degree in Psychology from the University of Missouri-Kansas City and an Associate's degree in Advanced Respiratory Therapy from California College of Health Sciences.
