Claire Burrows

Claire Burrows currently serves as the Director of Development at The University of Texas at Austin and as a Yoga Teacher at Dharma Yoga, both positions held since March 2024 and March 2023, respectively. Previously, Claire held the role of VP of Operations at Lyn Health from June 2023 to March 2024 and served in various capacities at the Texas Book Festival from September 2014 to November 2022, including Deputy Director, Development Director, and Operations Coordinator. Prior experience includes serving as Director of Operations at Capitol Home Health and as an Adjunct Professor at Stony Brook University. Early in the career, Claire worked as an Editorial Intern at Fantagraphics Books and as a Recruiting Associate at Nokia. Educational credentials include a PhD in Comparative Literature from Stony Brook University, a Master of Arts from The University of Texas at Dallas, and a Bachelor’s degree in Literary Studies from the same institution.
