David Allison

David Allison is an experienced professional in safety and security with a robust background in law enforcement and consulting. Currently serving as the Director of Safety and Security for Athletics at The University of Texas at Austin, David oversees safety operations for twenty Division I sports and ensures the security of various athletic facilities. As Founder and CEO of Be Ready Consulting LLC, David specializes in security services, including protective intelligence and emergency preparedness. Previously, David held the position of Assistant Special Agent in Charge at the U.S. Secret Service, demonstrating expertise in protective and investigative disciplines. David is also a veteran of the U.S. Army, having served as a commissioned officer. Educational qualifications include a Bachelor of Arts in Criminal Justice from Fort Valley State University and advanced training in homeland defense and security from the Naval Postgraduate School.
