Katie Pierce Meyer

Katie Pierce Meyer currently serves as the Head of Architectural Collections at The University of Texas at Austin, a position held since June 2018. Previously, Katie held various roles at the Architecture & Planning Library, including Humanities Librarian for Architecture & Planning and Interim Architecture & Planning Librarian. At the Alexander Architectural Archive, contributions included the processing and preservation of significant archival materials. Katie has taught online courses at the School of Information and has participated in teaching assistant roles across multiple departments. Educational qualifications include a PhD in Information Studies, an MA in Architectural History and Theory, an MS in Information Studies, and a BA in Philosophy, all from The University of Texas at Austin and Southwestern University.
