Krista Hadavi

Krista Hadavi currently serves as the Assistant Vice President for University Business Services and Chief Business Officer at The University of Texas at Austin, a position held since March 2006. In this role, Krista is responsible for planning, tracking, and facilitating advancements in accounting and finance processes, as well as overseeing key projects that align with the university’s financial goals. Prior to this role, Krista held various positions at the university, including Director of Financial Operations, Program Director for Financial and Administrative Services, and Director of Payroll Services. Krista’s career began at the Arizona Auditor General, where several financial auditing positions were held from July 2001 to December 2005. Krista holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Accounting from Arizona State University, obtained between 1997 and 2001.
