Martin Rodriguez

Martin Rodriguez is an experienced educator in the field of theatre, currently serving as Theatre Department Chair and Cultural Arts Passport School Champion at Ramon C. Cortines School of Visual and Performing Arts since October 2022. Within this role, Martin coordinates school-wide arts events, recruitment efforts, and fundraising activities, while managing arts budgets. As a Theatre Teacher with the Los Angeles Unified School District since January 2016, Martin has contributed as a mentor teacher and has taught at various educational levels. Additionally, Martin is an adjunct professor at Pasadena City College and plays leadership roles in national arts organizations, including the Educational Theatre Association and the California Educational Theatre Association. Martin holds a Master of Arts in Theatre Education from the University of Northern Colorado and a Bachelor of Fine Arts in Theatre Studies from The University of Texas at Austin.
