Melissa Taylor

Melissa Taylor is an accomplished academic leader with extensive experience at The University of Texas at Austin since 2009, serving in various roles including Interim Chief of Staff and Senior Strategy Advisor to the Executive Vice President and Provost, Senior Assistant Dean for Strategic Initiatives and Partnerships, Assistant Dean for Strategy and Planning, Director of the College of Natural Sciences Honors Center, and Program Coordinator for Recruitment & Alumni Relations. Prior to this, Taylor worked as a Health Network Associate at Migrant Clinicians Network and as a Project Manager for the Peace Corps. Taylor holds a Bachelor of Arts in Latin American Study, Spanish, and African Diaspora from Tulane University and a Doctor of Philosophy in Higher Education Leadership and Policy from The University of Texas at Austin.
