Mellie Price

Mellie Price serves as the Executive Director of Texas Entrepreneurship at The University of Texas at Austin and is also an Assistant Professor of Instruction at the McCombs School of Business. With extensive experience in entrepreneurship and technology commercialization, Mellie formerly held roles as Executive Director at the Brumley Institute for Graduate Entrepreneurship and the MS in Technology Commercialization Program at McCombs. As the founder of Source Spring, Mellie has contributed to early-stage investments through mentorship and funding initiatives. Additional roles include co-founding SoftMatch and Major League Pickleball, as well as serving on the board of Medical Informatics Corp. Mellie's educational background includes a Master of Science in Technology Commercialization from Texas McCombs School of Business and a Bachelor of Science in Biology from The University of Texas at Austin.
