Mitch Pryor

Mitch Pryor is a Co-Founder at Pike Robotics since January 2022 and has a longstanding affiliation with the University of Texas at Austin as a Research Scientist and Lecturer since August 1995. In this role, Mitch conducts research in the Nuclear & Applied Robotics Group and the Drilling Rig Automation Group while also teaching in the Mechanical Engineering and Electrical and Computer Engineering departments. Previously, Mitch served as a Science/Math Instructor at St James School from August 1993 to May 1995, where teaching, coaching, and living at a boarding school were integral parts of the experience. Educational credentials include a PhD in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Texas at Austin (1995-2002) and prior studies at Southern Methodist University (1988-1993).
