Dr. Bhavani Thuraisingham

Dr. Bhavani Thuraisingham is a distinguished professor at The University of Texas at Dallas, where roles include Co-Lead of the Cyber Operations Program and Founders Chair Professor of Computer Science and Engineering. As the founding Executive Director of the Cyber Security Institute, contributions involve expanding the cybersecurity faculty significantly. Dr. Bhavani currently serves as a Global Advisory Board Member for VigiTrust and as the Founder and President of Bhavani Security Consulting, alongside positions in other companies focused on security and data analytics. With extensive experience in research and development at The MITRE Corporation and academia, Dr. Bhavani holds multiple advanced degrees, including a Higher Doctorate from the University of Bristol and a PhD from Swansea University.
