Milind Dawande

Milind Dawande is a distinguished academic in operations management, currently serving as the Mike Redeker Distinguished Professor and Ashbel Smith Professor at The University of Texas at Dallas since August 2000. Dawande has progressed through various academic ranks at the university, initially joining as an Assistant Professor and advancing to Associate Professor and then to Professor. Prior to this, Dawande gained experience as a Research Staff Member at IBM T. J. Watson Research Center from September 1997 to July 2000. Dawande earned a PhD in Algorithms, Combinatorics, and Optimization from Carnegie Mellon University - Tepper School of Business in 1997.
