Martina Victoria Catalan

Martina Victoria Catalan currently serves as a Medical Assistant at The University of Texas Health Science Center at Houston (UTHealth Houston) since July 2023. Previously, Martina held leadership roles, including President and Director of External Affairs at the Filipino American Association at Indiana University from May 2020 to June 2023. Educational experience includes contributions as an Undergraduate Research Assistant in the Baby Language Lab, focusing on bilingualism, and the Computational Cognitive Neuroscience Lab, emphasizing network analysis related to neurodegenerative diseases. Martina also worked as an Undergraduate Teaching Intern for CHEM-C101 and completed a Student Internship at Deaconess Health System. Martina earned a degree in Neuroscience with a Pre-PA emphasis from Indiana University Bloomington, where studies were completed from 2019 to 2023, following a Magna Cum Laude high school diploma from North High School.
