Alex Garza

Alex Garza, MLS, has extensive experience in the energy industry, currently serving as a Commercial Surface Land Specialist at The University of Texas System since October 2022. Previously, Alex held various positions, including Senior Measurement Technician at Continental Resources and Measurement Technician roles at Pioneer Natural Resources Company, Occidental, and Anadarko Petroleum Corporation. Alex began a career in measurement as a Measurement Technician I and Pipeliner at Centurion Pipeline LLC. Alex holds a Master of Legal Studies with a focus on Energy, Oil, and Gas Law from Texas A&M University School of Law, a Bachelor of Arts in Economics from The University of Texas Permian Basin, and an Associate of Science from Midland College.
