Joann Anderson

Joann Anderson is an experienced professional in the field of workers' compensation and unemployment insurance, currently serving as Associate Director at The University of Texas System since January 2023. In previous roles, Joann worked as Manager of Workers’ Compensation Insurance at the Office of Injured Employee Counsel for nearly 17 years, where responsibilities included agency communications, government relations, and marketing communications strategy. Joann's extensive background also includes serving as a Training Specialist and Program Manager at the Texas Workers' Compensation Commission, managing statewide training programs and improving service delivery between central and field offices. Joann began professional experience as Field Office Manager at the Texas Workers' Compensation Commission. Joann holds a B.B.A. in Marketing from Texas A&M University.
