Rebecca Karoff currently serves as the Associate Vice Chancellor for Academic Affairs at The University of Texas System, focusing on collaborative initiatives to enhance the success of Texas students through partnerships with preK-20 sectors. Prior to this role, Rebecca was the Senior Special Assistant to the Senior Vice President for Academic Affairs at the University of Wisconsin System Administration, where significant contributions were made to the development of the UW Flexible Option and leadership of the LEAP Wisconsin initiative aimed at liberal education. Earlier in the career at the same institution, Rebecca served as Special Assistant to the Senior Vice President for Academic Affairs, providing liaison services to the Board of Regents Education Committee. Educational credentials include a Ph.D. and M.A. in Comparative Literature from the University of Wisconsin-Madison and an A.B. in Literature and Society from Brown University.
