Mark Tocchet

Dean, School of Design at The University of the Arts

Mark Tocchet is an award-winning illustrator, designer and Dean for the School of Design in the College of Art, Media & Design at the University of the Arts in Philadelphia. He is currently principal of Tocchet Studio, a design and illustration studio specializing in creative visual problem solving for the book publishing and package design markets. Mark’s work has been recognized by Communication Arts, Print and the Museum of American Illustration. He is a member of both the Society of Illustrators and the Illustrators’ Partnership of America.

Mark is a recipient of the University of the Arts two most prestigious faculty awards: the Richard C. von Hess Faculty Prize for Outstanding Commitment as a Teacher and Mentor (2001); and the Cynthia Iliff Koehler Distinguished Teaching Award (2017).
