Samantha Marchal

Samantha Marchal is a seasoned professional with extensive experience in advancement events and alumni engagement, currently serving as the Director of Advancement Events at The University of Toledo Foundation since September 2017. Marchal has progressed through various roles within the organization, including Associate Director and Assistant Director of Alumni Engagement, where responsibilities included managing budgets, communication materials, programming, and volunteer management. Previous experience includes positions at the National MS Society, where Marchal served as Development Manager for the Bike MS campaign, achieving significant fundraising increases, and as Development Specialist, enhancing participant engagement and event logistics. Additional roles at the American Red Cross, United Way of Greater Toledo, dELiA*s, and Make-A-Wish Foundation further illustrate Marchal's skills in relationship management, event coordination, and community outreach. Marchal holds a Master of Arts in Recreation & Leisure Studies from The University of Toledo and a Bachelor's Degree in Applied Health Science from Bowling Green State University.
