Brian Haggerty

Brian Haggerty is a seasoned professional with extensive experience in the gas and energy sectors. Currently serving as Co-Founder and Steering Committee member of the Hydrogen Society of Australia and as a Director at AGIT, Brian is also an Adjunct Professor and Associate Dean at The University of Western Australia, focusing on collaborative solutions between industry and academia. Brian's leadership extends to membership in the Sustainability Committee of the International Gas Union and past roles including President and Deputy President of Engineers Australia WA Division. With a notable career at Woodside Energy spanning over four decades, Brian transitioned to retirement from roles such as VP of Innovation Capability and VP of LNG Development. Academic credentials include an MBA from Deakin University and a Master of Engineering Science from The University of Western Australia, among other qualifications.
