David Hargrave

David Hargrave is an experienced IT professional currently serving as Associate Director of IT Service Management at The University of Western Australia since 2019. Previously, David held the position of Manager Service Operations at South32 from February 2015 to October 2018, where responsibilities included delivering enterprise ITIL processes and managing the Enterprise Service Management Toolset (ServiceNow) with global accountability. Prior to that, David was Head of Information Technology at BHP for five years, overseeing IT services across mining assets and implementing both insourced and outsourced resource models. Additionally, David served as Manager of Information Technology, providing expertise during an international secondment to address systemic IT failures, successfully restoring compliance within 18 months.
