Faiza Chowdhury

Faiza Chowdhury is a Research Officer at The University of Western Australia since May 2025, with a diverse background in research and development across multiple organizations. Previous positions include Research and Development Coordinator at Genofax® Life Sciences, research roles in the iGEM Competition and as a Research Assistant at Macquarie University and the Australian Genome Foundry, and a Pharmacist Assistant at Chemist Warehouse. Faiza has also provided administrative support at AstraZeneca and served as a Sessional Teaching Academic at Macquarie University. From August 2016 to August 2023, significant experience was gained as a Senior Product Executive and Key Product Manager at Eskayef Pharmaceuticals Limited and Eskayef Bangladesh Limited. Educational qualifications include a Masters of Biotechnology from Macquarie University, an MBA in Marketing from the University of Dhaka, and a Bachelor of Pharmacy from North South University.
