Harvey Millar

Harvey Millar is a distinguished academic and researcher at The University of Western Australia, serving as Center Director for the ARC Centre of Excellence in Plant Energy Biology since March 2002, overseeing a partnership involving multiple prestigious Australian universities. As a Professor in the School of Molecular Sciences, Harvey focuses on enhancing plant energy efficiency and crop stress tolerance. Prior roles include ARC Future Fellow, ARC Australian Professorial Fellow, and ARC QEII Fellow. Harvey's postdoctoral fellowship experience includes a position at the University of Oxford and recognition as a Human Frontier Science Program Longterm Fellow. Harvey completed a PhD in plant biochemistry and molecular biology at The Australian National University, where a Bachelor of Science degree was also obtained.
