Paul M. Parizel

Paul M. Parizel currently holds the position of David Hartley Chair of Radiology at The University of Western Australia since September 2019. With a distinguished career in radiology, Paul has served as a visiting professor for several European School of Radiology courses from 2009 to February 2023 and has been a faculty member for multiple MRI courses since 1995. Paul also held the title of Chair of the Department of Radiology at Antwerp University Hospital from 2003 to February 2023 and contributed as a faculty member for the International Diagnostic Course Davos. Paul’s leadership experience includes serving as Chairperson of the Board of Directors and President of the European Society of Radiology in 2017 and 2016, respectively. Paul's academic background includes degrees in medicine and multiple fellowships in neuroradiology from the University of Antwerp.
