Debora R. Murphy

Debora R. Murphy is an experienced professional with a diverse background in leadership, coaching, and worship arts. As the Worship Leader at North Carolina Five Day Academy for Spiritual Formation since February 2013, Debora has been responsible for planning music for worship experiences. In addition, Debora serves as a Communicator for The Upper Room since January 2018. Previously, Debora held various managerial positions at John Deere from 1990 to 2020, including roles such as Executive Coach and Global Learning Leader, where responsibilities involved enhancing executive effectiveness and deploying learning opportunities. Other notable positions include Regional Leader for Discipleship Ministries, leadership development roles at The Peak Church, and participation in the Women Unltd program. Debora holds an MBA in Supply Chain Management from Arizona State University and a BSHEC in Child Development from the University of North Carolina at Greensboro.
