John Degraft-Johnson

John deGraft-Johnson is an experienced strategy director currently at The Upside, specializing in brand strategy and product innovation for major clients such as Heineken, Spotify, Google, and Adidas since July 2021. Prior experience includes a role as strategy director at Anomaly, where contributions were made to brands like Mini, LNER, Unilever, Facebook, Instagram, Uber, and the successful pitch for Pride in London. Previously, John served as a strategist at Joint London focusing on Amazon Prime and other projects, as well as planner and account manager at JWT, working with clients such as Qatar Airways and the British Army. Early in the career, John interned at L'Oréal, coordinating product launches and managing national campaigns. John holds a degree in International History from The London School of Economics and Political Science and has A-Levels from King Edward VI Grammar School in Chelmsford.
