Asha Abdulrashid Ali is a skilled technology professional and social entrepreneur with diverse experience in application development and community outreach. As the Co-Founder of The Us4Their Foundation since February 2020, Asha has led efforts to provide sanitary products to over 1000 girls in low-income areas. In the role of Application Analyst at MSI Reproductive Choices from May 2022 to September 2024, Asha enhanced system functionality for applications built on Dynamics 365 Sales and CRM. Previously, as a Mobile Application Developer at The Open Institute, Asha spearheaded the creation of the Sabasi Android application for real-time data collection. Asha's journey in technology started with an internship at The Open Institute, focusing on data clean-up for civic engagement projects, followed by a Diploma in IT and Computer Science from AkiraChix in 2019.

The Us4Her Africa is a non-profit organisation that is passionate about menstrual hygiene and women's empowerment. We believe that together, we are the solution to the menstrual hygiene challenge in Africa through our Innovation, consistency and data-centered approach. Our mandate is to protect and uphold every girl's dignity by empowering and consistently providing free menstrual packages and mentorship every month to U4Her girls. We have over 20,,000 girls from rural and urban settings who have benefited from our work for the last 3 years.
