Umar Shakir

Umar is a Fellow with The Verge, bringing with him 15 years of IT Support experience and 5 years of being an undercover barista at home. Despite an extensive IT background, Umar has a bachelors degree in Film\Video and Animation from UMBC and participates in local filmmaking competitions. If found in the wild, Umar would be observed spending his time finding old game cartridges, waiting to charge his car in sheetz parking lots, and watching Football.
