Claire Spilsbury is a highly experienced compliance professional with extensive expertise in financial services. Currently serving as Senior FS Manager for SMCR & Governance at The Very Group since October 2020, Claire has previously held various compliance roles including SMCR Consultant at Together Personal Finance Limited and several interim compliance management positions at HSBC and Barclays. Claire's career began at Britannia Building Society as Compliance Development Manager, with subsequent leadership roles at Wave Lending Limited and Charter Court Financial Services. Claire holds a Diploma in Compliance from the International Compliance Association and has an educational background from Stafford College and Wolgarston High School in Penkridge, Staffordshire.
