Matthew Richards

Matthew Richards is a seasoned professional in service delivery and lifecycle management, currently serving as a Senior Service Lifecycle Manager at The Very Group since May 2021. Prior experience includes various leadership roles at The Telegraph from October 2013 to May 2021, where responsibilities included Lead Service Delivery Manager and Interim Head of Service Operations. Prior to that, Matthew worked at the BBC as a Problem Manager from August 2010 to September 2013, and in service roles at telent Technology Services Ltd. Matthew began a career in IT support as a Service Desk Engineer at telent Technology Services Ltd from May 2005 to August 2009, having managed a service contract at Merseyside Fire & Rescue Service. In 2009, Matthew took a sabbatical to travel the world. Matthew holds a BA Hons in Business Management from The Manchester Metropolitan University, achieved in 2001 with a 2:1 classification.
