Sophie Schofield

Sophie Schofield started their career at Clarks as a Sales Associate in 2007, where they gained experience in team work, public interaction, and customer service. Sophie worked in a small store, which required their to take on managerial roles such as overseeing the store, cash management, and shift organization.

In 2015, Sophie joined Moneysupermarket Group as a Graduate Data Engineer. Sophie then transitioned to the role of Professional QA - Data, where they were involved in end-to-end testing in a large-scale data warehousing project. Sophie'sresponsibilities included independent test case design, execution, and regression of ETL code. Sophie remained with Moneysupermarket Group until 2022.

Following their time at Moneysupermarket Group, Sophie joined Shop Direct in 2019 as a Data Engineer. Sophie held this role until 2022, when they moved on to their current position at The Very Group as a Principal Data Engineer.

Overall, Sophie has a strong background in data engineering and quality assurance, complemented by their early experience in sales and customer service.

Sophie Schofield completed their education at various institutions. Sophie obtained a Master of Ecology (MEcol) degree in Ecology and Environmental Science from the University of Liverpool from 2011 to 2015. Prior to that, they pursued a foundation degree in Chemical Sciences at the same university from 2009 to 2010. Sophie also attended Maghull High School, where they completed their A Levels in Biology/Biological Sciences, General from 2007 to 2009. Sophie started their educational journey at Maghull High School in 2002 and finished their secondary education with GCSE qualifications.
