The Village at Marymount
Kristy Y. is a dedicated occupational therapist and business owner with extensive experience in both pediatric and adult rehabilitation. Currently, Kristy operates Ready, Set, Bloom Therapy LLC, providing home and community-based occupational therapy for children aged 4-18 in Northeast Ohio. Kristy also serves as an occupational therapist for Akron Public Schools and as a PRN occupational therapist at The Village at Marymount, where duties include evaluating physical and cognitive impairments and developing rehabilitation plans. Prior experience includes a supervisory role at Bellefaire JCB, where Kristy managed a caseload of students with autism spectrum disorder, supervised therapy assistants, and presented educational plans to stakeholders. Kristy holds a Master's degree in Occupational Therapy and a Bachelor's degree in Health Services from Wayne State University, as well as a Bachelor of Business Administration from Coastal Carolina University.
