John Tarpinian has a diverse work experience spanning over 20 years. John currently serves as Vice President, Commercial Loan Officer at The Village Bank since September 2021. Prior to this, they held the positions of Assistant Vice President, CLO and Commercial Loan Officer at the same bank, where they generated new commercial relationships, expanded existing relationships, and consistently achieved their personal and department goals.

Before joining The Village Bank, John worked at BB&T, where they were a Servicing Business Services Officer and Senior Credit Analyst. In these roles, they serviced and retained a small business portfolio, conducted commercial loan underwriting, and met the financing needs of prospective clients. John also analyzed financial statements and trained new analysts in financial statement and credit analysis.

John's earlier work experience includes roles as a Commercial Credit Analyst at Stoneham Savings Bank, a Supervisor at Lowes Cineplex Entertainment, and a Landscaper/Laborer at the National Park Service.

John Tarpinian completed their high school education at Bishop Fenwick High School from 1994 to 1999. Following that, they pursued a Bachelor of Science (BS) degree in Business Administration at Salem State University, which they completed from 1998 to 2002. Later, John pursued further education and obtained a Master of Criminal Justice degree from Boston University, which they completed in the period from 2010 to 2012.
