Brandy Spence has a diverse work experience spanning multiple industries. Brandy started their career as a Divisional Analyst at Nordstrom in 2006. Brandy later ventured into the food and beverage industry, working as a Bartender at Shinsei from 2010 to 2017. In 2012, they became the Owner of The Corner Bar & Grill until 2015. Following that, they joined Lovers Seafood & Market as a General Manager from 2017 to 2020. Brandy then worked as the General Manager at Shinsei for a brief period in 2020 before transitioning to the role of General Manager - Meridian at The Village Dallas from 2020 to 2021. Currently, they hold the position of Director of Food and Beverage at The Village Dallas from October 2021 onwards.

Brandy Spence pursued their education in culinary arts at The Culinary Institute of America. From 2003 to 2004, they obtained an Associate's Degree of Occupational Sciences with a focus on Culinary Arts/Chef Training. Following that, they continued their studies from 2004 to 2006, completing a Bachelor of Professional Studies degree in Culinary Arts Management at the same institution.
