The Village Family Services
Brenda Sanchez is a dedicated mental health professional currently serving as a Mental Health Therapist at The Village Family Services since July 2021. With a Master's degree in Marriage and Family Therapy/Counseling from the University of Southern California, Brenda's background includes serving as a Virtual Peer Mentor at USC, assisting first-year students in their transition, and completing a Marriage and Family Therapy Traineeship at New Opportunities Organization. Prior experience includes holding various leadership roles at California State University Channel Islands, such as Student Government Senator and Vice President of the Residence Hall Association, where Brenda represented student interests and facilitated community engagement. Brenda's early career involved roles in recreational leadership with the City of Rancho Cucamonga and as Director of Activities at Landmark Medical Center-Pomona, where Brenda focused on therapeutic activities for patients.
