Jennifer Atwood joined the Visiting Nurse Association in December 2013, bringing 15 years of nonprofit, community and ministry leadership to her role as the Visiting Nurse Association’s managing director of development and communications. Prior to joining the Visiting Nurse Association, she served as founding director of the Bright Zone, the community outreach arm of St. Philip’s Episcopal Church in Frisco, where she developed programs to break the cycle of poverty through education. Jennifer began her career at the Center for Nonprofit Management where she served as director of communications for five years. Jennifer holds a bachelor’s in public relations from Texas Tech University as well as an Executive Management Certificate from SMU.
