Maggie Mello

Director, Public Service Education at The Volcker Alliance

Maggie Mello joined the Volcker Alliance in January 2016 and serves as the director of public service education. Ms. Mello drives strategy and manages the Alliance’s efforts working with universities, government agencies, and other nonprofit and private sector organizations to strengthen public service education to inspire and prepare the next generation of public servants. Previously, she was an associate at MDRC, a nonpartisan social policy research organization, where she was responsible for managing a large portfolio of projects funded by foundations and the federal government. Prior to joining MDRC, Ms. Mello managed the day-to-day operations of the Rackets Bureau of the New York County District Attorney's Office as the bureau administrator. Ms. Mello holds degrees from Barnard College, Columbia University and the McCourt School of Public Policy at Georgetown University.
