Yao Cai

Yao Cai is a skilled Software Engineer at The Voleon Group since September 2019, with a background in scientific research and teaching. Previously, Yao served as a Graduate Researcher at the University of California, Berkeley, where a significant contribution included designing and developing a Python library for high-throughput quantum mechanics modeling. Yao also excelled as a Graduate Student Instructor, leading discussion sections and receiving commendations for teaching effectiveness. Other professional experiences include a role as an Applied Scientist at Zillow, research positions at the Institute of Physics and Beijing National Lab, and as a Student Researcher at Wuhan University.
